The Government has decided that the Shared Service Centre servicing the general agency clusters will locate at the former Australian Taxation Office building at 303 Sevenoaks Street in Cannington. The majority of in-scope Corporate Services positions across the State public sector will therefore be located at Cannington. Affected Corporate Services staff will need to consider their career options and make decisions about how they wish to proceed. Unless your area of Corporate Services work is out of scope and the function is to remain the responsibility of the agency, it is likely that the position you are presently held against will no longer exist in the agency, with this function being undertaken by the SSC. Staff in this situation (at level 8 and below) are advised to apply for advertised positions in the SSC – with like for like transfers to occur at employees’ substantive levels.
