What if I don’t want Pattern Day Trading status and privileges?
EM call exceptions may be made for accounts with no EM call history (no previous courtesy removals). This will require the review of the day trading rules. Once you have reviewed and understood the day trading rules set by FINRA you may reply to the EM margin call email sent to you from Zecco trading. In your reply you must state “you have read and understand the rules and regulations of pattern day trading and you do not intend to day trade without maintaining the minimum equity ($25,000) in your account”. Once Zecco Trading margin department has reviewed your account they will make a decision as to whether the call will be removed. Zecco Trading will notify you via email on the status of your request. For more information regarding day trading please visit our Day Trading Risk Disclosure Statment.
