What if I don’t meet the requirement for 1000 practice hours in the previous five years?
A social worker who is absent from practice for five or more years may be required to take a refresher course and to work under the supervision of a registered social worker for a period of time to be determined by the Competence Committee. Individual circumstances will be taken into consideration.
