What if I do not report a traffic collision at the time it happens? Will the police investigate the collision at a later time?
If you are involved in a traffic collision and you do not call the police or wait for an officer to arrive, we will not be able to investigate the collision at a later time. If you decide not to notify police at the time the collision occurs, but agree with the other parties involved that you do not want police intervention, we cannot investigate the crash at a later time. You can document the collision on a City of Broken Arrow Operator’s Collision Report form that can be made available to your insurance company for documentation of the incident.
