What if I currently use another long distance provider? Will Compoint cancel my current contract?
Compoint will NOT cancel your contract with your current long distance provider. If your current long distance provider doesn’t charge you a monthly fee or a monthly minimum, there is no need to cancel your contract: since your long distance calls will be handled by Compoint and not by your current long distance provider, your current provider will stop sending you bills since they will have nothing to bill you for! However, if your current long distance provider charges you a monthly fee or applies a monthly minimum, we urge you to cancel your contract in writing in order to make sure not to pay for any recurring charges in the future.
