At this time, the Department has not determined that any licensing authority in another jurisdiction or a specialty accrediting organization such as CACREP or COAMFTE has standards that are equivalent to New York State. Consequently, any applicant who did not complete a New York State licensure-qualifying program must have an individual review of education as described in #5.
