This is not a good idea. If SocksCap sees that there may still be active connections, it will display a warning that there may be active connections and give you a chance to cancel your exit request. Q9: When I run SocksCap, the following message is displayed: Couldn’t find my own hostname: WSANO_DATA (errno=11004). To use SocksCap, your machine MUST be able to figure out its own name and be able to resolve its address. Namely, it must be able to get a response from ‘gethostname’ and ‘gethostbyname’. Be sure your machine’s host and IP are defined in your stack’s HOSTS file and/or in your DNS servers DNS tables.
