What if I already use a Zip drive type disk drive and backup software?
Frankly, we don’t believe that it is safe for most users to use a “Zip” drive or other removable disk media for backups. SureSafe service is completely automated and has the required file redundancy to protect important data. The only sure and safe way to use a “Zip” drive – if there is indeed a way – is to use multiple disks and make the same backup multiple times. That way when a file is needed for recovery, and one disk is found to be faulty, another one may contain the file or files that are needed.
