It is mandatory for you to open a demat account with Alankit assignments ltd. However, if you have a Demat Account with another depository, you can continue your Demat Account with them. But for every sale you make, you will need to ensure that you transfer the stocks into our Demat account two days before the securities pay-in date of the Stock Exchange.
