What if high levels of melamine are detected in products?
FDA is testing bulk shipments of milk and milk-derived ingredients from China, finished food products from China made with milk or milk-derived ingredients, and finished food products from other countries that may contain milk or milk-derived ingredients from China. If products contain melamine and/or a melamine-related compound, the agency will take appropriate action.
