What if faculty members are grading papers at home? Does that count as hours worked?
A. Yes. However, it is the supervisor’s decision as to how that may affect the number of hours the employee must work at the college location. No employee can arbitrarily work at home or other location and expect it will be counted as part of the work week without their supervisor’s approval. Q. I tell my employees they can work at home but my boss says “No.” A. That is your supervisor’s right to make that decision.
