What if everyone in Sysop Space wanted to die at the same time?
This is actually the more interesting question, since it requires a hierarchy to the purposes of a Sysop. A Sysops overall purpose might seem like ensuring the continuation of the human race, but this is actually only an expected side effect of protecting individual volition. The answer, therefore, is pretty straightforward: If every single being in Sysop Space wanted to die at the same time, the Sysop would have no authority to stop it. There is a remote possibility that a Sysop would then create new minds in order to perpetuate the race, but this is more a premise for a science fiction novel than a likely chapter in a Sysop Scenario.
