What if every passenger survived the Titanic sinking – would it alter current history?

It would alter history in several ways …. 1. Obviously, those who dies would live and have kids and influence the lives of others, etc. Who knows, John J. Astor may have invested in oil in Asia and sold oil to Japan cheaply preventing them from feeling compelled to attack Pearl harbor. Or … one of the people in steerage could have had a son who would have shot FDR before the war started therefore preventing or hampering or delaying our entry into WWII. Those are far fetched possibilities. 2. More realistically predictable is that countless others would have died over the years as safety at sea would not have had a rallying point. Because of the Titanic, rules were altered to mandate enough lifeboats. Procedures were changed in the way icebergs were reported. Water-tight bulkheads were required to go all the way to the top of the deck. 3. There would never have been movies about the ship sinking because it was a non-event. No billions of dollars for actors and actresses and producer
