Jeez I hope you didn’t die of boredom halfway through Rashnik’s answer, I know I did. Prednisolone is a steroid which can be given to strengthen a baby’s lungs in late pregnancy, for example if it looks like you will deliver prematurely. I don’t know how many weeks pregnant you are, but you will have detailed scans throughout your gestation which will highlight every detail of your baby’s vital organs. It’s fantastic, and it’ll put your mind at rest. I’m sure the dose you would have received will not do your baby any harm. It’s just as important to make sure you are well enough to carry the baby to full term, so try not to worry un-necessarily. I’m sure many people have medication for asthma, or worse, all the way through their pregnancy, and still have a healthy baby. Good luck and congratulations!
