A. The Metropolitan Police Deaprtment works with two very reputable organizations, BackStoppers and the St. Louis Police Foundation. Neither of these organizations solicit donations by telephone. If you’re contacted by someone soliciting for donations, contact the Better Business Bureau to see if the organization is reputable.
