What if an inmate forgets some property upon release?

0

If an inmate neglects to take all of their personal property at the time of their release from custody, a written notice will be mailed to their last known address. The notice will advise them of the situation, list the items left behind and issue instructions regarding recovering the property. Under no circumstances will the property be retained for more than sixty (60) days after release. At that time, the property will be destroyed, donated, if in appropriate condition, or, held for annual auction.
