What if an emergency were to occur during the summit period?
Ontario has effective emergency management legislation and programs. With its security and safety partners, Emergency Management Ontario (EMO) leads the coordination, development and implementation of prevention, mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery strategies to maximize the safety and security of Ontarians. This is done in support of emergency management programs in municipalities, First Nations and government ministries.
