What if an attendee has a VUMC Outlook/Exchange account but doesn use the Calendar, OR has an assistant who keeps their calendar?

• If they have an account but do not publish their free/busy times to the server, or if they do not use the Outlook Calendar at all, you can still send them a request, but you may have to keep up with their response manually. • If an assistant keeps their calendar, there are two possibilities: • Some assistants have full delegate access to their supervisor’s Calendar and Inbox, and can receive and respond directly to requests you send to the supervisor. In this case, you don’t have to do anything differently. • In many cases, however, the assistant has only share access to the calendar and may or may not have access to the supervisor’s Inbox. Or, they may keep their calendar in a different system. In these cases you will have to determine the exact setup they use and how they would like to process meeting requests.
