What if an agencys Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) does not follow the Disaster Recovery Plan Documentation Instructions (SIMM 65A)?
If an agency’s DRP does not follow the framework outlined in the SIMM 65A, then a cross reference sheet must be included with their transmittal letter and the submission to the California Office of Information Security identifying where information on each component can be found. The cross reference sheet is found on pages 2 and 3 of the Agency Disaster Recovery Plan Transmittal Letter (SIMM 70D).
