What if a two-wire interface is required instead of an open-collector, three wire interface?
There are both interface types available in both GTS ICs and other types. There is also an application note on the Allegro website explaining how a three wire circuit output can be adapted to a two-wire interface. True two-wire sensor circuits require no additional external circuitry to provide two-wire interfacing.
