Students with a 24 or higher on the ACT-E, or 550 or higher on the SAT-V, are automatically placed into Engl 250. They are also exempt from taking the EPT. Students who have an American high school rank of 75% or higher and who have an ACT-E of 23 or SAT-V or 540 are also exempt. All other students must take the English Placement Test.
