When a clicker is not working correctly, please make a note of the clicker number and the problem (dead battery, no ID number) and forward this information to CTec@mail.wvu.edu or use our [cref problem-form online problem report form] as soon as possible. Clicker batteries can usually be replaced within 24 hours of notification (not including weekends). Malfunctioning clickers should be returned to their clicker box in order for CTec technicians to quickly locate them. Each classroom is equipped with extra clickers (approximately 10% extra per room). Students should be assigned a temporary clicker in the event of malfunction. To help you track which of your students are using spare clickers, you will need to make a note of the student’s temporary clicker number so you can match the clicker to the correct student for grading purposes.
