What if a product arrives damaged ?
Simply refuse the product with the delivery company. All products are inspected for damage or defect by Showstoppers USA before they leave our warehouse. They are then heavily packaged to prevent damage. However, we cannot control the actions of the shipping companies. Damages do happen from time to time. Once your package arrives, inspect the package before signing any delivery slips. If damage has occurred to the extent that it cannot be fixed, simply refuse the package and Showstoppers USA will replace the product upon receipt of the damaged product. Please note that if a product is signed for and received, the shipping company will no longer take liability on the products delivered. Do not sign or receive anything unless it is cleared of damages!!!
Any product that is received damaged or with a missing part must be reported within 48 hours of receipt. Interior-Deluxe cannot accept responsibility for any damages or missing parts not reported within this timeframe. We also do not accept responsibility for any broken parts that are being reported after the light fixture has been installed. All damages must be reported prior to installation. Please hold on to all packaging materials since and wait until an inspection has been done by the shipper. If you have disposed the packing of the shipment that arrived damaged – we will not be able to provide any replacement. Products received with broken glass or dented shades are not considered defective. In such a case, we will provide replacement glass or shade at no additional charge. If received a product with a broken glass or dented frame , it cannot be returned after 5 days of receipt. In this case a replacement part will be provided to you.
