What if a person has a subsequent arrest?
The CBC unit will send notice to the authorized party if the subject party is arrested after the original determination. In this instance the voluntary provider, DDSO or registered provider is responsible for conducting a safety assessment of the service environment and taking all appropriate steps to protect the health and safety of the persons receiving services. In addition, the provider is responsible for monitoring the outcome of any pending charge. The safety assessment must be documented and if requested, forwarded to the CBC Audit Unit.
