What if a member needs Specialists, Lab Tests or X-rays?
A25. If a member or a covered dependent needs any of these services, he/she will not need a referral. If the member goes to a network provider, he/she will keep out-of-pocket expenses to a minimum. If requested, network physicians can usually help refer the member to another provider in the network. This is only a brief summary of the plan.
