What if a hunter has not passed a hunter education course or cannot produce proof?
A bowhunter can satisfy this requirement by passing a test administered by Five Rivers MetroParks based on the written portion of the Ohio hunter education course and bowhunting knowledge. Hunters who passed the hunter safety certification in Ohio may request a copy from the Division of Wildlife.
