Contributors have the right to cancel their agreement or pledge. The new law provides clear guidelines for canceling a contribution and specifies that a contribution may be canceled at any time if a solicitor has knowingly failed to comply with the law. Under normal circumstances, contributors may cancel monetary contributions until 12 midnight of the third business day or non-monetary contributions until 12 midnight of the first business day after the day on which the contributor receives a written confirmation of contribution.
