What if a blue plus member does not earn 3,000 miles within the year?
When their current blue plus card expires, they will be sent a letter advising that they have not re-earned blue plus, and therefore have been downgraded to blue level and they will not receive the complimentary products onboard. As soon as their membership status miles balance reaches 3,000 miles they will automatically be upgraded and sent a new blue plus card.
