It depends on the type of interior designer. Commercial interior designers work regular business hours (8-5 Mon-Fri plus lots of overtime) because that is when their clients are at work. Other interior designers work at stores and may work 10-8 Tuesday through Saturday. Residential designers often work by appointment on weekends as well as regular business hours because they have to meet with clients while they are not at work.
