What home projects require Building Permits?

0

Our Planning & Development staff is happy to assist you with all your home projects. A brief list of those requiring Development and Building Permits are: Decks, Sheds over 120 sq ft., Additions, Sunrooms, Above-Ground Pools. Some projects that require building permits are Basements, Renovations and In-Ground Pools. This is not a complete list. Please call 403-207-7075 for more information or you may also visit our handy section of development brochures here. Sheds under 120 sq. ft. do not require a permit but must follow height restrictions and meet all setback requirements (just call us!). Fences do not require a permit but follow height restrictions. More information available by visiting the link above for our development brochures.
