What holds the chunk together in the grain-free varieties?
Pea Fiber and Egg Whites. This is a novel way to create a true chunk for this type of product. The other chunks and gravy products on the market today that are grain-free do not offer large chunks, but have more of a stew-like appearance. The recipes in our line that have grains use oat fiber instead of pea fiber. When oat fiber is used to make the chunk, the chunk is not considered grain-free as oats are part of the grain family.
