The sand fill provides sufficient weight to hold the green down. A 650 square foot green with 2 pounds of sand per square foot will have over one-half of a ton of sand on it. Additionally, if requested by a customer, we will install landscape staples around the perimeter. However, these rust and may become dangerous over time.
