What Hindu Gods can be considered evil?

0

There are hundreds of Hindu gods, but of the major players, the goddess Kali comes to mind as one you might mistakenly consider evil. I say mistakenly because Kali is the goddess of destruction… but she’s also the goddess of rebirth and creation. The Hindu perspective on life and death is so much more holistic and natural than the western perspective. Westerners view death as “bad” and have constructed an entire belief system dedicated to denying the reality of life and death, while Hindus view death as a natural (even needed and valuable) part of life. This is reflected in the character of Kali. After all, if it weren’t for death, there would be no need for birth. If there were no destruction, there could be no growth. This is SUCH a more wholesome, constructive and ACCURATE view of life.
