If you plan on staying on the Canadian side, take the TCH from Regina east to the Ontario border. The TCH becomes highway 11/17 through Ontario. The easiest drive through Ontario is taking the northern route, avoiding the campers and congestion of going through Sault Ste. Marie. About an hour east of Thunder bay, the TCH splits in Nipigon. If you take the Northern route you go through Cochrane, Hearst, Kapuskasing to North Bay where you head south to Barrie on the 400 to the 401 west to the QEW south to Niagara Falls. Is a little over40 hours driving time. Watch for moose through northern Onatario, Tim’s in Cochrane, hearst, Kapuskasing.
