What high calorie foods can i eat to make up 1000 calories in a meal?
Eat more whole grains, pasta, cereal, beans, lean meats, eggs & some good fats like olive oil . Add in calorie dense foods to increase your calories without having to eat alot more. Some healthy calorie dense foods are: peanut butter, nuts, raisins, flax seed. You can buy ground flax seed & sprinkle it on veggies, cereal, etc (it has a nutty taste) & it will increase your calorie intake…& it’s good for you. Do a Google search for Calorie Dense Foods for other foods to add to your diet. There are also meal replacement shakes and bars that contain alot of calories & nutrients that you could use if you can’t get in the calories you need with your food.
