What herbal remedies for depression are most effective?
I was recommended to the Bach Flower Remedies many years ago by a friend. There are thirty eight different types each originating from a specific flower or plant. They each help deal with a particular negative state of mind. A complete list is shown on the official website below detailing the problem that the remedy is used to treat. One of the best characteristics of these treatments is that none of the plants that they derive from is poisonous, so they can do no harm whatsoever. They can also be safely given to animals. My particular favourite and the one I always keep handy is “Rescue Remedy”, this is a general purpose treatment which is very useful when you need some reassurance, for instance before an exam or driving test, or if you are nervous about flying. These remedies are very easy and pleasant to take; they are in a concentrated liquid form and can be diluted in water and drunk or simply dropped directly onto the tongue using the special applicator. There is almost no taste.
