What help is available for a person who doesnt have English as their 1st language?

If a person does not have English as a first language they might first try getting help from a family member, friend or neighbour. However, if this is not possible their enumerator will try to identify which language they speak. The enumerator can provide the Information Leaflet in 10 languages and can arrange for an interpreter in many others. Alternatively, you can download the Information Leaflets from our Request a Census Test Form page.
