What head lice services are provided by council?
Hume City Council’s Health Department provides advice and education to schools and the public on the management and treatment of head lice. On request from a school, the department will assist a school to manage their head lice program. Head lice solution and nit combs are available from pharmacies and supermarkets. The Victorian Department of Human Services has an excellent website providing advice on the treatment and control of head lice.
