What have philosophers said about the ethics of reproduction?

ethics are society’s consensus on behaviour patterns for society, ie agreed or not agreed on abortion for instance. Philosophy on the other hand are simply ideas of what and how society thinks and feels about issues ie life after death for instance. Human reproduction in its self usually falls under moral/medical issues in society.
