What have Peer Leaders done in the past?
In the past, Peer Leaders have: • Organized annual Diversity Day events at Watertown High School • Attended trainings • Helped 5th graders using the Reach Out Now curriculum • Raised over $1000 at Arsenal Mall Gift wrap several years in a row • Created and distributed holiday gift baskets to senior citizens in collaboration with the Marshall Home senior citizen population • Assisted in Cooking Club classes at Middle School • Raised over $1000 at Arsenal Mall Gift wrap several years in a row • Supported the Even Start Program by teaching English to new community members • Made community presentations with adult members of the Watertown Youth Coalition • Produced a quilt made by Watertown High School students during Diversity Week 2006 • Worked with the Improbable Players performance group to deliver substance abuse education through a dramatic presentation
