What has the process been like writing the piece now for almost a year?
Did you ever imagine it would continue for so long? I just thought it was funny. The first 2 pages could have been a story on their own. But, if you have an opportunity to do something that you really enjoy doing, you shouldn’t pass it up…. It’s fun for me and totally therapeutic to write. I’m not a person that’s very good at follow-through, so this is the longest running creative project I’ve ever been involved in and certainly the greatest number of words I’ve written in a single project. Now, we just ran Part 20 of the story in the last issue—12 or 13 hundred words a pop…that’s a lot of words. The little bits of feedback have been cool, so as long as people want to read it, I’ll keep writing. Why did you choose fiction as the genre to write in?
