What has the most relative importance as reasons for the outcome of the American civil war?
Union blockades to cut off supplies and a lack of manufacturing facilities in the South are the main reasons for the outcome. The South had superior skills on horseback leading to a much more effective Cavalry, but food and supplies are vital to an armies success! As for leadership, Robert E. Lee remains the only student to go to West Point and recieve no marks or de-merits! Though that record stands to this day, no one can utter the man`s name at the school without punishment.
