Editor: Re: Lawmaker’s legacy is refusal to conform: The Republicans gerrymandered the dickens out of existing political districts, to the extent that the primary opponent of our most qualified and most efficient representative, U.S. Rep. Karen Thurman, D-Dunnellon, must be introduced to Citrus County by the Times. Despite the extensive article, I and many others are totally unaware of anything state Sen. Ginny Brown-Waite has done for Citrus County. On the other hand, we are aware of the many, many things Thurman has done.
