What has Not Stupid achieved so far?
At the UK Premiere in March 2009 ( http://www.ageofstupid.net/premiere ), we ambushed the UK Climate Change Minister, Ed Miliband, with a giant pledge: Stupid-star Pete Postlethwaite threatened to give back his OBE if the Kingsnorth coal power station got the go-ahead. Within a month Ed had changed his coal policy – http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2009/apr/24/energy-coal-carbon-capture-environment – and then in October 2009, the Kingsnorth project was shelved indefinitely (which we’ve definitely not taking the credit for as there was loads of pressure from all sides).
