What has happened to the WWE Cruiserweight Title?
It was permanently retired back in March after it had been vacant since last September.Vickie Guerrero had stripped Hornswoggle of the title for “his own safety”.But the Cruiserweights roster had become so small, Vince felt that it couldn’t justify keeping the Title open.Miz and Morrison, Deuce and Domino, Wang Yang and Moore, Jesse and Festus had all been previous Cruiserweights and were now being pushed as Tag teams.With so few singles Cruiserweights remaining, the storyliners couldn’t work a popular or convincing enough angle fof them.So Vince had the title permanently retired.
