In June 2008, we received a million-dollar grant from the Jonah Interagency Office to modify and reconstruct wildlife-friendly fencing in a portion of the pronghorn migration route between the Forest Service boundary in the Upper Green and Trapper’s Point. Wildlife-friendly fencing generally means a fence that’s no more than 42 inches high with a smooth bottom wire at least 16 inches off the ground, and at least 10, but preferably 12, inches between the top and second wires.
