What has changed with the radar feature?
The new AccuWeather.com radar feature divides the U.S. base map into handy zones, so you can easily click and zoom to progressively more local maps. In its current form, metro radar exists for major cities only. Only the largest national map doesn’t animate. You can animate radar maps by clicking on “Play” in the upper right corner of the map. The “old” radar is still available underneath new radar. Click on the small map to make it bigger. We are planning major upgrades to our radar that will integrate a leading dynamic map logic provider with our radar and allow for a truly differentiated experience.
