Michigan is in an economic crisis, with the highest unemployment rates in the country. States with RTW have proven attractive to companies desiring to locate in an area. Michigan’s pro-union tradition does not help Michigan compete with other states in attracting jobs. Michigan is in a one-state recession and extraordinary changes are in order.
