State boards are requiring that disinfecting of pedicure units be done between pedicures and at the end of the day with an EPA registered product. Pedi Redi Plus has contained Chloramine-T as a sanitizer for the skin and water but it is not EPA registered, therefore we have removed it from the product formula. Please note that Chloramine-T was a safe and effective ingredient, it was only removed from the product due to EPA and State Board regulations. We also had a growing concern that the use of many different types of sanitizers and disinfectants when combined in a spa may have negative effects on the pedicure equipment and cause skin iritation. Make sure to closely follow the label directions on all sanitizers and disinfectants as to skin and surface contact and chemical reactivity. To improve the soaking performance of Pedi Redi Plus we have added Magnesium Sulfate (Epsom Salt).
