What has been the level of patronage so far?
The patronage is fair. Even in the western world, solar energy is very expensive. For individuals to be able to install their own personal solar energy source, the person must be very rich. It is very few who can afford it. I want government to fund the solar energy resource companies and also give them license to produce energy for every tier of government in Nigeria. In the western world government supports solar energy technology companies to supply power for public use. In Nigeria we have a lot of wind, water and sun energy resources. These three sources should be applied side by side. Advice to government on electric power supply I advise the government to introduce not only solar power but also other renewable energy sources such as water and wind energy. Government should diversify the ways of generating energy. For example, government should support solar energy technology companies in the aspect of capital input and on how local manufacturing solar energy equipment in Nigeria
